On November 21, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Aktam Khaitov.
According to the presidential press service, Aktam Khaitov, on his own behalf and on behalf of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the New Azerbaijan Party.
Aktam Khaitov stressed that Shavkat Mirziyoyev highly valued the friendly ties with Azerbaijan. Ilham Aliyev thanked for the congratulations and asked to convey his good wishes to the President of Uzbekistan.
Noting that he visited Uzbekistan three times this year, Ilham Aliyev recalled with satisfaction his meetings with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the conversation, the parties also emphasized importance of effective cooperation and mutual visits between the New Azerbaijan Party and the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.
