As previously reported, Uzbekistan national team is preparing for the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup joint qualifiers and will hold a training camp between October 3-16, during which the White Wolves will hold two friendly matches against Iran and the UAE.
On October 8, Uzbekistan will host Iran at Pakhtakor stadium and will travel to Dubai for a friendly against the UAE on 12 October.
The head coach Vadim Abramov called up 32 players to the training camp, among whom a number of foreign-based players.
