The Hockey Federations of Uzbekistan and Russia yesterday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) in Moscow. The document was signed by the President of the Hockey Federation of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Fazylov and his Russian counterpart Vladislav Tretyak.
The MoC has outlined the principles of cooperation in various areas - holding friendly hockey matches, competitions between children's and youth teams of the two countries and other events.
It provides for assistance in the implementation of referee and coach training programs, holding of scientific and methodological conferences and workshops.
The parties also discussed the possible participation of the “Tashkent” hockey club in the Higher Hockey League (HHL) - the Silk Road Cup and agreed to cooperate to achieve thish goal.
