President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Umid Ahmadjanov attended the General Assembly of the Asian Olympic Council in Jakarta, Indonesia.
On the margins of the GA Umid Ahmadjonov met with the president of the Asian Olympic Council, Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahad al-Ahmad al-Sabah and vice-president of the Asian Olympic Council Gafur Rakhimov, acting president of the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA).
Gafur Rakhimov became interim chief at the International Boxing Federation in January. He was placed and then removed in short period of time from the Uzbek police Most wanted list earlier this year.
