Uzbekistan national and youth hockey team will for the first time ever participate in 2025 IIHF World Hockey Championship starting from the lowest Division IV grouped with Iran, Kuwait, Indonesia, Malaysia and Armenia.
The dates and venue of the competition is yet to be determined. This will be the first major tournament in history for the Uzbekistan national hockey team.
The youth national team of Uzbekistan will also make its debut at the World Championship in Bangkok from February 28 to March 6. They are grouped in Group B of the Division III with Thailand, Turkmenistan, Bosnia, South Africa and Luxembourg.
