Children from Ukraine are completing their recreation and rehabilitation program in Uzbekistan, organized for them in the Anor camp in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent province, the Ukrainian Ambassador Nikolai Doroshenko said on his Facebook page.

For 12 days, about 100 children from Kharkiv, Kherson, Nikolaev, Zaporijjia, Sumy, Khmelnitsky, Lviv and Kyiv participated in cultural, educational and entertainment events.

Master classes in national crafts of Uzbekistan were held for the guests - pottery, painting, wood carving, beadwork. Not only children, but also teachers accompanying the group took part in the events.

At the end of the program, there was a tour of Tashkent. The children got acquainted with the historical monuments of the capital of Uzbekistan, visited the Abdel Qasem madrasah, the State Museum of the History of the Temurids and Taras Shevchenko Square, where they laid flowers at the monument to the Ukrainian poet.

Qudratulla Rafikov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, who was in charge of organizing the recreation, met with the children. At the event, all children were awarded certificates of honor for their activity and gifts - smart watches. And at the beginning of their stay, the guests also received memorable gifts from the Tashkent gallery Human House - handmade Shahrisabz skullcaps.
