The Tashkent’s Shaykhantakhur district criminal court issued a verdict against the former MP Kabul Dusov today, the spokesman to the Supreme Court Aziz Abidov said.

Judge A. Mirzakhanov, who heard the case in the first instance, found Dusov guilty under the following charges of the Criminal Code:

- Slander combined with an accusation of committing a grave or especially grave crime;

- Insult of an official performing official or civic duty;

- False denunciation with an accusation of a grave or especially grave crime.

The victims in the case were the chief of the secretariat of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MPSE) Zhamshid Shamshiev, the head of the Anti-Corruption and Compliance Control Service of the ministry Bakhodir Madrakhimov, the chief of the MPSE Department in the Navoi province Rano Khaitova, the senior inspector of the probation department of the Chirchik city police department and one more person (Alisher Bukhorov and Gafur Aripov).

Taking into account the previously issued sentences, on the basis of Imposition of punishment for several crimes and their addition, the court sentenced Kabul Dusov to a final sentence of 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment, to be served in a general colony.

The sentence partially includes the term handed by the Arnasay District Court on February 24, 2025.

The judge also ruled to block Kabul Dusov's Facebook and Telegram profiles and explain to the parties their right to recover financila and moral damages in civil proceedings.
