Astana will host the second Central Asia-China Summit on June 17, the Akorda press service said. The Summit will be attended by the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, and China.

The first Central Asia-China summit took place on May 18-19 in Xi'an, China. It was the maiden Summit in person since the establishment of diplomatic relations between them more than 30 years ago.

The parties discussed the ways to expand cooperation between the Central Asian countries and China, international and regional issues. Following the meeting, the heads of state signed the Xi'an Declaration.
