Gazprom upped gas supplies to Uzbekistan by 4.4 billion cubic meters in 2024. Gazprom supplied 5.64 billion cubic meters (BCM) of gas to Uzbekistan in 2024, while in 2023 this figure reached 1.28 BCM, that is, gas supplies increased by more than 4 times the company said in an annual report.
Since October 2023, the company commenced exporting gas to Uzbekistan via Kazakhstan in reverse mode through the Central Asia - North system.
Long-term (until 2040) contracts were signed in June 2024 for the supply of Russian gas to Kyrgyzstan from 2025, Gazprom added.
