Fatal traffic accident occurred in Tashkent's Sergeli district on June 2, the Tashkent Police Department said. At about 11:50 p.m., a scooter and a Damas car collided at the intersection of Mirzo Tursunzade and Mekhrigiyo streets. The latter overturned after the collision. As a result of the accident, the scooter’s driver died at the scene.
A criminal case has been opened under Violation of traffic safety rules or the operation of vehicles that resulted in the death of a person is punishable by imprisonment for up to seven years with deprivation of a certain right Charge, with investigation underway.
