Wolves were found to be kept at one of the gas filling stations in Andijan city. This was reported by the Andijan Province Environmental Department.
Reportedly, investigation was conducted by the Andijan province Attorney’s Office and the Province Environmental Department, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
The investigation found that an individual A.A., was keeping two Central Asian wolves at a gas station in the city. On May 23, the man voluntarily handed over these wolves to the Usmonobod Fayzi zoo.
Currently, the wolves have undergone a veterinary examination and was found to be healthy, with measures being taken to ensure the wolves' future stay and breeding in the zoo.
