Following the talks in Ljubljana, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob signed a Joint Statement on Thursday, May 22.
The two leaders also oversaw the signing of a number of bilateral accords:
- Exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports;
- Cooperation in the fields of education, science and culture;
- Cooperation in the field of transport and logistics;
- Cooperation in the field of management of "smart" cities;
- Cooperation in the field of standardization;
- Cooperation in the field of water resources management;
- Cooperation in the field of tourism.
