From September 1, Radar road sign will be mandatory in places where any stationary or mobile speed radars are installed, and in distance not less than 250 m and no more than 500 m before those places, the President’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov reported, citing the directive of the head of state and the government resolution.
According to him, the resolution was issued based on "proposals and wishes of the public, to improve the traffic control, to create additional facilities for drivers and resolve the problems that concern them."
Among other novelties, , it will be prohibited from June 1to record violations related to vehicles running over road markings with photo and video cameras (with the exception of crossing the stop line). Traffic police officers will continue to issue fines for this violation.
In addition, road repair and marking work shall be banned during the day and evening times. From June 1, road maintenance works shall be allowed only at night.
Meanwhile, all vehicles shall now be allowed to move along bus lanes from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
