The Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov met with the Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Monday, the PM’s press service said. Reportedly, the PM Aripov voiced gratitude for the hospitality extended to the country's delegation and conveyed the sincere greetings and best wishes of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized that thanks to the strong political will of the two heads of state, mutual cooperation ha been upgraded to the level of comprehensive relations, and the practical implementation of agreements reached at the highest level is also important for regional stability.
They focused on the implementation of agreements reached in the priority areas of bilateral relations, such as trade, economic and investment, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, interregional and cultural and humanitarian areas.
As part of the visit to Tehran, the Uzbek government delegation visited the Iranian House of Innovations and Technologies and got familiar with advanced products and developments in such areas as energy, medicine and pharmaceuticals, agriculture, IT, and construction.
