Over 1 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan in April 2025, the Tourism Committee said in a report.Reportedly, this is the result of consistent reforms in the tourism sector, in particular, openness and enhanced international cooperation.
Presidential decrees and resolutions aimed at boosting tourism as a strategic sector, as well as attracting investments to the sector, visa-free with many countries, and active participation in international tourism fairs and forums are further boosting Uzbekistan attractiveness as a tourist destination.
In the future, the goal is to further develop the sector, expand the range of services that meet international standards, and support ecological and sustainable tourism destinations, making Uzbekistan a globally competitive and attractive tourist destination.
