Uzbekistan Airways has announced a temporary alterations to its flight routes to countries in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific due to the situation on the border between India and Pakistan.
In order to ensure maximum flight safety, as well as taking into account temporary restrictions on flights in the Pakistan-India border area, flight routes to a number of cities, such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Phuket, will be changed, the company’s statement said.
Changes in destinations and additional route adjustments are possible. According to provisional estimates, travel time will increase by 1.5 hours or more depending on the destination.
On May 8-9, the company also canceled HY461/462 Tashkent to Lahore flight, with passengers requested to apply for a refund or rebook the ticket for other dates.
