Roadmap for the implementation of the Uzbekistan's Human Rights National Strategy 2030 could be drafted and is envisaged to:
- systemizing all norms related to social security in a single document;
- systemizing the social rights of individuals;
- strengthening the principles and concepts of social security;
- social support for families in need of social assistance;
- strengthening the issues of introducing the social welfare index of the population.
Whilst, relevant proposals will be developed following the study of international standards and experience.
The current legislation on social security will be optimized and a draft Social Security Code, which will be directly applicable, will be developed and submitted for public input.
Based on the summarized results, the draft Social Security Code of Uzbekistan will be submitted to the Legislative Chamber.
It is also intended to develop measures for the protection of doing business and human rights and to ensure their effective implementation.
In doing so, a national action plan on business and human rights will be adopted.
