The Ministry of Transport has appealed to heads of companies engaged in international road freight transportation with a reminder to comply with the rules for use of multilateral permits for transportation along the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan route.
As noted in the statement of the Ministry, these forms are intended exclusively for transportation of goods through the established checkpoints along the Tashkent-Andijan-Osh-Irkeshtam-Kashgar route and back. They were issued as part of the development of the transport corridor between the three countries.
However, according to the Ministry of Transport, recently there have been more frequent cases of improper use of permits: some carriers use them to transport goods only between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, without following the entire route. Such actions are in violation of the rules.
The Ministry warned that the forms used for other purposes shall be deemed invalid, and in the future, these carriers may be rejected the issuance of this type of permit.
