The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will land in Uzbekistan on an official visit on April 22-23. During his visit to Tashkent, he is scheduled to hold talks with the President of Uzbekistan, as well as detailed negotiations with the Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The parties are expected to focus on the ways to further develop the Uzbek-Russian strategic partnership and alliance relations by stepping up the implementation of agreements reached during the state visit of Russian president Vladimir Putin to Uzbekistan in May 2024.
