President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the presentation of the master plan for Sea Breeze Uzbekistan tourism center by Azerbaijani entrepreneur Emin Agalarov Monday.

As reported by the presidential press service, the master plan project of the tourism center on the shore of the Charvak reservoir in the Tashkent province, was developed with the participation of several foreign companies.

The project provides for the phased construction of the center, "divided into 10 compact zones. Each of them will include recreation facilities and necessary services within walking distance."

A bridge is planned to be erected between the two banks of the reservoir.

Reportedly, a boulevard, beaches and recreation areas will be built near the shore, while hotels, cottages, residential buildings, restaurants and spectator areas will be on the slopes.

"The complex will not only be a tourist destination, but also a space for year-round living, the press service added.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev reportedly emphasized that the center should be convenient and affordable for all visitors and gave instructions to provide the complex with the necessary infrastructure, the press service added.

The project is estimated at $10 billion and will be financed by foreign investors.

However, the services and goods in this lavish center, just like the Amirsoy ski resort in the Bostanliq district, are expected to be very expensive and hence unaffordable for ordinary people.
