The Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 24 signed a decree "On measures to improve the plant protection and agrochemical services", which has approved the establishment of UzAgroKimyoKhimoya (tr. Uzbek agro-chemical protection), a joint-stock company, the Center for coordination and development of the securities market announced.
The main tasks and activities of UzAgroKimyoKhimoya is the implementation of a common technical and technological policy for fertilizing, chemical and biological ways of plant protection, fight against locusts, pests, diseases and weeds.
According to the decree, starting from 2017 the wholesale of mineral fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and defoliants by the manufacturers, part of UzKimyoSanoat will be carried out at the International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange.
