5.7 million foreign nationals landed in Uzbekistan for tourist purposes in January-September 2024, the Statistics agency said in a report.
This figure has increased by 825.8 thousand people or 16.8% to the same period of last year.
Foreign nationals who visited Uzbekistan:
- Tajikistan - 1.6 million people;
- Kyrgyz Republic - 1.6 million;
- Kazakhstan - 1.1 million;
- Russia - 609.7 thousand;
- Turkmenistan - 120.4 thousand;
- Turkey - 84,300;
- China - 50,400;
- India - 48,600;
- South Korea - 32,600;
- Italy - 30,300;
- other countries - 311.9 thousand.
Officials of the diplomatic corps of foreign countries in Uzbekistan, officials of international organizations, observers who came to observe the election also attended the event.
