Meeting took place between the officials of the Uzbek Center for the Study of Transport and Logistics Development Problems and the Port Investment Department of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the ways to advance the bilateral cooperation in the field of logistics infrastructure creation and modernization and the development of a FS for the construction of land port and domestic terminals in Syrdarya and Jizzakh provinces. The project, which started on August 9, 2024, will last for 13 months and will end on September 12, 2025.
Reportedly, the goal of the project is to develop a dry port in these areas, which will help improve the logistics infrastructure of the country.
