Fire broke out at a gas station in Oltindala neighbourhood of Kukdala district in Kashkadarya province after a fuel storage tank exploded, the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry said.
Reportedly, the incident occurred on July 16 at 14:40. Four fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene, with the fire extinguished at 15:35.
The ministry added that four people died in the incident, with the number of injured not disclosed.
Officers from the Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the prosecutor's office and other relevant authorities left for the scene. While reportedly, the Ministry of Health sent a group of experienced specialists headed by the general director of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care Davron Tulyaganov.
