Easybooking and the next gen travel firm Centrum Holidays, in collaboration with the Rixos hotel chain, have launched a new product - the Tashkent to Sharm el-Sheikh tours.
On July 21, 2024, the grand opening of the Tashkent-Sharm el-Sheikh flight by Centrum Air took place at the Tashkent International Airport. The first flight was operated under the flagship name Rixos Jet, the press service of Centrum Air reported.
The ceremony was attended by officials of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Centrum Air, Centrum Holidays, Easybooking, media representatives and flight passengers.
“The opening of Rixos Jet flights to Sharm el-Sheikh is another important step forward in Uzbekistan’s aviation, as it contributes to expanding the geography of flights and developing tourism among our fellow countrymen. Egypt is a popular tourist destination and we are committed to making it accessible to our passengers. In this regard, we - Centrum Holidays, Easybooking - together with the Rixos hotel chain have launched a tour to this resort town. Before each flight, passengers will enjoy live music and a buffet, and upon arrival, guests will be accommodated in the best hotels of the Rixos chain and will be able to appreciate the special comfort and exclusive service during their vacation. In addition, Erkan Yildirim, President of the Rixos hotel chain, will be present on board the plane, which emphasizes the status and uniqueness of the new destination,” said Centrum Holidays CEO Jahongir Israilov.
The first flights will be operated once a week, only on Sundays on a 321neo aircraft, which has 190 economy and 12 business class seats.
Easybooking’s chief for Development Director, Valkriy Parenchuk shared that the focus of this product is to provide high quality meals, premium comfort and service. “Easybooking, in partnership with Centrum Holidays and Rixos, is proud to introduce a new flight to Sharm El Sheikh on Rixos Jet. Egypt is one of the most favorite holiday destinations in the whole world, we hope that Uzbeks will have a great time there.”
The flight load was 100%, passengers flying to Sharm el-Sheikh, upon arrival at the airport, guests will be greeted with compliments in the form of cocktails and souvenirs, and a basket of exotic fruits will be waiting for each arriving tourist at the hotel.
“I travel a lot on my own, but this time I decided to spend a holiday with my family, and I could not even imagine that our first family trip would begin with a flight on Rixos Jet, we are definitely excited.
