From July 1, the fare of tickets for speedy trains Sharq (Tashkent to Bukhara), Nasaf (Tashkent to Karshi) and Uzbekistan (Tashkent to Fergana Valley) will increase by 25%, the Uzbekistan Railways said.
Fare for a Nasaf economy class ticket will rise from 150.6 thousand to 178.2 thousand soums, in business class from 218.2 thousand to 262.8 thousand soums.
Prior to this, ticket prices for these trains, as well as the Afrosiyob high-speed train, increased by 20% from January 20.
In October 2023, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Decree on radical reform of the railway transport sector. The Decree has abolished government regulation of ticket prices for high-speed and speedy train services from 2024.
