Uzbekistan government delegation led by the Minister of Poverty Reduction and Employment Behzod Musaev paid a visit to Germany, Dunyo said.

During the visit, a roundtable discussion was organized in the country's embassy with the participation of executives of major German companies in cooperation with the Eastern Committee of German Economy. 

The parties discussed issues of further expansion of cooperation in attracting those who want to work temporarily abroad to work in a developed country of Europe, quick and efficient organization of labor migration to this country. 

While, German business leaders pointed that the need for foreign labor in Germany was increasing, especially in the fields of nursing and paramedics, truck drivers, industry, mechatronics, gastronomy, and road construction, there is a need for more than 130,000 workers. 

During the event, a presentation was made about Uzbekistan manpower potential, the conditions, privileges and facilities created by the state to support those who want to receive vocational education and temporary work abroad. 

Also, at the dialogue, they expressed their suggestions on improving the vocational training of Uzbeks based on the requirements of the German labor market, facilitating the learning of the German language, and easing obtaining a visa. An initiative to implement joint projects aimed at introducing the German model of vocational training was put forward. 

The German executives voiced readiness to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan.
