In Tashkent province, as in other provinces of the republic, several individuals, members of crime groups were arrested as part of special “strike-working 40 days” campaign.
According to the provincial police department, 34 members of criminal groups were detained in the Tashkent province during raids carried out by special units, with criminal cases launched against 11 of them, and 23 taken into administrative custody.
13 units of pneumatic and hunting weapons, ammunition and stun guns, knives, brass knuckles and bits of various sizes and types, illegally stored by these and other persons, were identified.
In the fight against drugs, more than 50 cases were identified, 11 kg of narcotic drugs and 8,703 units of psychotropic and potent drugs were seized from illicit trafficking.
64 wanted persons who committed crimes and fled from judicial and investigative authorities were arrested, and 2 missing citizens were found.
