State Statistics Committee reported on countries with highest share of food items’ exports to Uzbekistan. Reportedly, the top country in terms of food exports to Uzbekistan in January-June 2022 was Kazakhstan on 37.9 percent.

Kazakhstan was followed by:

• Russia - 25.6 percent;
• Brazil - 11.9 percent;
• Belarus - 4.3 percent;
• Pakistan - 2.9 percent.

While, in January-June 2022, Uzbekistan exported 821,000 tons of fruits and vegetables worth nearly 450 million US dollars.

This figure has increased by 104,000 tons compared to the same period last year.
