A panel of experts for information and mass communications affairs has approved a list of games that are not recommended for importing, reproduction (production) and dissemination on the territory of Uzbekistan, a statement of the Agency for Intellectual Property said.

On June 8, 2017 the legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will give a concert in Uzbekistan. The concert is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and the philanthropist Alisher Usmanov.

Starting from 2017 Uzbekistan's annual Hajj quota increased from 5200 to 7200, a statement of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
