On June 28, an Uzbek-Turkish business forum was held in the capital. The event was attended by the Deputy PM/ Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov, the Vice President of Turkey F. Oktay, the Chair of the Council for Foreign Economic Relations (DEIC) N. Olpak and other representatives of ministries, departments and agencies.
The event was also attended by about 30 Uzbek and over 60 Turkish businessmen.
The main goal of the event was to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as strengthening cooperation between the two countries in creating additional opportunities for businesses.
