Solward is pleased to announce that Muborak Kambarova has joined the firm as a Partner. Her appointment marks an important step in the firm’s development as one of Central Asia’s leading legal advisers and further strengthens its capabilities in banking & finance, capital markets and corporate matters.
Muborak has 30 years of experience advising international clients on investments and transactions in Uzbekistan. She brings market-leading experience in Uzbekistan’s capital markets, having advised on a substantial portion of the country’s Eurobond issuances to date, across both Rule 144A and Regulation S formats. Her experience includes acting for leading international investment banks as joint lead managers on high-value and complex cross-border bond issuances by the Republic of Uzbekistan, major state-owned banks — including Agrobank, National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activity, Sanoat Qurilish Bank — and corporate issuers, including Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, UzAuto Motors and Uzbekneftegaz.
Her practice encompasses banking and finance, including asset finance, project finance, restructurings, privatisations, securitisations and trade finance, as well as cross-border transactions, corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions.
Muborak has advised banks, multilateral lenders and corporates throughout the investment cycle — from legal feasibility studies and project structuring to negotiations, financing, commercial documentation, licensing, permitting and other regulatory matters. Muborak also has extensive experience in the mining and oil and gas sectors.
Before joining Solward, Muborak Kambarova built her practice at leading international and Uzbek law firms in Tashkent, advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Muborak graduated, with distinction, from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.
She is recognised by Chambers Global, The Legal 500 and IFLR1000 among Uzbekistan’s leading lawyers. In Chambers Global 2025, clients said: “Muborak has our absolute trust. She always delivers quality work on time and knows the market and legislative trends very well.”
Muborak Kambarova, Partner at Solward, said: “I joined Solward at an important stage in the firm’s development. The firm’s growth in Uzbekistan and across Central Asia provides a strong platform for further developing the firm’s capabilities in Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Corporate matters. I am pleased to be working with the Solward team to help clients deliver their most significant transactions and investment projects.”
