At the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade was held a meeting with the delegation of the Korean Federation of Textile Industry (KOFOTI) and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH).
During the meeting, the guests were briefed about the benefits and preferences created for foreign investors, particularly in the textiles industry, and the free economic zones in Uzbekistan.
Also the sides discussed opportunities for trade-economic cooperation and investing in the textile industry.
Following the meeting, it was agreed that the Uzbek side will provide practical assistance to the Korean side together with O'zbekYengilSanoat in preparing an analysis of the state of Uzbekistan’s textile industry.
