President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as part of his official visit, met with the CEOs of major Kuwaiti companies, the presidential press service said Monday.
In particular, as part of the business program of the visit, Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the CEO of Fouad Alghanim & Sons, Fadi Haddad.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev supported the company's plans to build healthcare and education facilities under PPP terms in Uzbekistan.
At a meeting with Henadi al-Saleh, the CEO of Agility Logistics, the parties focused on a promising project to set up a joint logistics center in Uzbekistan for the efficient delivery of agricultural products to the Persian Gulf countries.
Also, as part of the official visit, the Uzbek leader hosted the CEO of Action Group Holdings, Sheikh Mubarak al-Sabah. Shavkat Mirziyoyev backed Action Group Holdings' plans to build hydroelectric power plants and social housing, as well as to process minerals in Uzbekistan.
In addition, Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the CEO of Kuwait Investment Company, Fawaz al-Ahmad at his residence, and supported joint projects in the fields of education, infrastructure, agro-industry and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies.
