On October 26 in the framework of the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Programme, the Uzbek Competition Committee officials met with the delegation of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
At the meeting, the Committee Chairman D. Khidoyatov and the head of OECD delegation, Antonio Somma discussed the issues of developing local competitive markets and building export capacity of small and medium enterprises (SME).
The Committee noted the trend of consistent growth of SMEs’ share in exports and made a presentation on the theme "Export potential and developing of trade: new challenges and opportunities."
Following the meeting the sides agreed to enhance cooperation and exchange experience on the issues of developing competitive markets and building export capacity of SMEs.
