Ahead of the state visit of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar hosted the Uzbek-Mongolian Business Forum.
According to the Ministry of Transport, as part of the event, the First Deputy Minister of Transport Mamanbiy Omarov met with the CEO of the Mongolian Hunnu Air, Munkhjargal Purevjav.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the launch of Ulaanbaatar to Tashkent direct flights.
In particular, during the talks, the parties clarified on the matter of allocating the necessary slots to Hunnu Air and determined practical measures to coordinate the mechanism and procedure for providing services to transit passengers.
They also reached agreements on further developing cooperation in the field of civil aviation, with Hunnu Air set to operate its first Ulaanbaatar to Tashkent flight in September this year.
