The Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Igor Dodon on the election as the President of the Republic of Moldova, a statement off the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
In his message, Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed confidence that the traditional friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Moldova will continue to steadily develop and strengthen in the interest of both countries and their peoples.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Igor Dodon good health, well-being and success in his responsible duties in the capacity of the President, and to the Moldovan people - peace and prosperity.
