The Interim President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 10 congratulated the president-elect of the United States of America Donald Trump on convincing presidential election victory, an Uzbek Foreign Ministry statement said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev wished Donald Trump good health and success in his responsible duties in the capacity of the President, and also peace, welfare and prosperity to the American people.
The Head of State noted the stable development of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the recognition by the United States of Uzbekistan's independence. During this period the two countries have succeeded in laying the solid foundation for cooperation, the statement added.
