President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today left for the United States of America to attend the 72nd UN General Assembly session in New York.
President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to address the General Debate of the 72nd Regular Session on the opening day and to hold bilateral meetings with counterparts.
In particular, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet with UN Secretary General António Guterres, the IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde, the World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim.
The President will also take part in a massive Uzbekistan-US business forum, where the two countries are expected to sign a number of bilateral accords in the trade, economic, financial and investment fields.
