The meeting is attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the United States, led by the USAID Administrator Samantha Power.

Yesterday, Administrator Samantha Power visited a school in Tashkent and announced a new initiative to help improve the quality of instruction, materials, and support that every child needs to succeed in school, with an initial-year investment of $4.5 million. 

For the first time, the foreign ministers of the five Central Asian countries met with representatives of all 27 countries of the European Union at the same time.

On October 23, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Samantha Power.

The Russian Red Wings will launch regular Kazan to Samarkand passenger flights on October 30, 2023. Flights will be operated once a week on Mondays on SU95 type aircraft.

On Monday, it will rain fall in the central and south-eastern provinces of Uzbekistan, mostly of low intensity. No precipitation is expected in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi provinces, Uzhydromet reported.
