On August 31, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the Uzbek people on Independence Day and told how the New Uzbekistan would look. Shavkat Mirziyoyev added that "the new Constitution, the main author and creator of which is the people, will serve as a solid legal basis to this end."
“Years, centuries will elapse, but Independence Day, which restored our national statehood, identity and human rights, which underlies all our achievements and milestones, will always be the biggest and dearest holiday for us and our future generations,” the head of state said.
According to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the New Uzbekistan is a state:
- which will provide wide opportunities for the use of governmental services to further improve the livelihood of every citizen;
- where there are all conditions for people to openly talk about their problems and work together to solve them;
- which makes it possible to ensure unconditional justice for all and whose citizens are equal before the law, regardless of their social status;
- where the necessary conditions for the ease of doing business are created.
The President also identified 5 main tasks as part of the development strategy until 2026.
Firstly, in the field of education, it is planned to consistently continue creating the most favorable conditions for children to master modern knowledge and skills.
Secondly, without an independent judiciary, the development of society is impossible.
Thirdly, due to the development of doing business, additional jobs will be created, poverty will be reduced, and incomes of the population will increase.
Fourthly, the population's access to better and more qualified medical services in the healthcare system will be expanded.
Fifthly, the issue of providing the public with clean drinking water will always be in the spotlight.
In conclusion, the President offered "a tribute to our hardworking, noble and tolerant people, who actively support our reforms and are always disinterested in their implementation"
