Certain streets in Tashkent will face temporary traffic closures to all vehicles from the night of July 31 to the night of August 3 as crews complete the second phase of resurfacing works on Mustaqillik Avenue. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance.
According to the Tashkent City Administration, the restrictions will remain in effect from 11:00 PM on July 31 until 10:00 PM on August 3, 2026.
During this period, Oqqorgon Street will be closed from its intersection with Mustaqillik Avenue to Osiyo Street. Additionally, Parkent Street will be closed from the Mustaqillik Avenue intersection to Parkent-2 Street.
Officials stated that the closures are necessary to safely complete high-quality paving, upgrade the road infrastructure in stages, and ensure ongoing traffic safety.
Apologizing for the inconvenience, the city administration urged motorists to use alternative routes and schedule their travel ahead of time.
