Odil Abdurahmanov, 44, was appointed to the position of adviser to the president on youth, science, education, health, culture and sports issues. The Kun.uz source reports about this.

Since the summer of 2020, he had been working as the rector of Tashkent State Transport University.

Earlier, Abdujabbor Abduvahidov, who had been the president's adviser on youth, science, education, health, culture and sports issues since August 2018, has left his post.

This is the fifth personnel change in the Presidential Administration for the last month, as Zaynilobiddin Nizomiddinov was dismissed of duty by the head of the administration, replaced by Sardor Umurzakov.

On July 23, it became known that Sunnatulla Bekenov was appointed assistant to the head of the administration. Later, Komil Allamjonov was appointed deputy head of the administration, and the former adviser to the president, Bakhtiyor Islamov, was transferred to the post of chairman of the Supreme Court.

The day before, the former deputy head of the Accounts Chamber, Saidlaziz Saidkarimov, was appointed head of the Control Inspectorate of the Presidential Administration.
