The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday added 36 companies from 9 countries to the Entity List that are restricted from accessing US technology and items for violating the U.S. International Sanctions Act.

The list includes 25 companies based in China, Russia, the UAE, Lithuania, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Singapore, the UK, Vietnam and Uzbekistan.

In particular, the company Promcomplektlogistika from Uzbekistan fell under the restrictions and was included in the list on suspicion of “supporting the military-industrial complex of Russia” in violation of the sanctions that took effect after the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

On March 3, the US State Department imposed sanctions on Russian company Radioavtomatika, which specializes in the purchase of foreign products and electronic components for the Russian defense industry.

Promcomplektlogistic was added to the list by the State Department for "actively supporting Radioavtomatika in its efforts to evade U.S. sanctions." The company reportedly supplied the Russian partner with microchips.

According to open data, Promcomplektlogistika was registered in Tashkent in July 2018 and is engaged in the field of land transport. The founder and CEO is Oleg Grabilin.
