During the celebration of Eid al-Adha Khayit, Uzbeks will have at least three days off. In early February 2021, the president signed the Measures to further develop domestic and pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan Decree. According to the document, on the days of the main holidays, Uzbeks will rest for at least three days.
In accordance with the April 30 presidential decree, changes were made to the presidential decree, which set additional days off in 2022.
According to unconfirmed reports, Eid al-Adha falls on July 9 in 2022.
Thus, Uzbeks will have days off on:
- July 9, 2022 - Saturday (holiday non-working day - not yet officially confirmed);
- July 10, 2022 - Sunday (day off according to the calendar);
- July 11, 2022 - Monday (additional non-working day);
- July 12, 2022 - Tuesday (additional non-working day/postponed holiday).
