The Cabinet of Ministers issued Measures to implement the project" Acceleration of development policy of Uzbekistan in transition" with the participation of the World Bank Resolution.
According to Norma, on December 16, 2021 to support the state budget in the framework of the project "Acceleration of development policy of Uzbekistan in transition" with the participation of the World Bank:
- $ 150 million from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for a period of 18 years with a 5-year grace period;
- $ 250 million in soft loans from the International Development Association for a 30-year period with a 5-year grace period.

The schedule of debt repayment, interest and brokerage payments on these loans from the state budget was approved.
The loans will be used to finance the republican budget. The Ministry of Finance has been assigned as the executive body responsible for the effective use of funds allocated for the project.
