Traffic accident occurred in Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan involving several cars on the night of June 15, including a bus carrying citizens of Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, which refers to the data of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations, the accident occurred in Zhambul region at the 545th kilometer of the Almaty-Tashkent highway. A traffic jam formed on the highway due to the fire of a truck loaded with knitwear. At approximately 3:40 a.m., a truck crashed into two passenger buses and one passenger car. These vehicles also caught fire.
There were 31 citizens of Uzbekistan in one bus. Three of them received moderate injuries. They were hospitalized to a medical facility in Taraz.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations underscored that it is in constant contact with its Kazakh counterparts and exchanges the necessary information.
