SkyTaxi has launched flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan Airports said in a statement. On June 11, at 14:50 local time, a plane belonging to SkyTaxi cargo airline landed at Tashkent International Airport. The company’s first plane was traditionally greeted with a water arch.

Headquartered at Wroclaw Airport in Poland, the company has a fleet of two Boeing 767-200 cargo aircraft and operates charter and scheduled cargo flights to Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

SkyTaxi operates charter flights six times a week. Cargo planes fly from China via Uzbekistan to Europe and back.

Tashkent Airport will become a transfer point for technical landings, refueling and crew replacement.
