On May 6 Shavkat Mirziyoyev in order to “familiarize himself with socio-economic development and to inspect ongoing projects” visited Tashkent’s Yashnabad district. The first destination of the visit was Toshkent Kogozi LLC (transl. Tashkent Paper), UzA said.
Toshkent Kogozi occupies over 12 hectares, while buildings and structures occupy 4.5 hectares. The company has the necessary infrastructure and facilities to launch production capacities.
The Head of State noted that the company must make use of all available facilities and even let factory facilities to other entities.
The presentation of social and economic projects that will be implemented in Yashnabad district was also held here. In particular, it is planned to organize the production of medicines and medical products, overalls, fat and oil products, feed, travertine and marble tiles, metal hedges, build modern leisure facilities, a market and an exhibition center.
The President also visited Artel plant in the district.
Artel manufactures modern home and kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, TVs, washing machines, gas stoves, air conditioners, microwaves, vacuum cleaners, cell phones.
The President familiarize himself with the production process, inquired about the types and quality of products, expansion plans.
