The President signed Ratification of an International Treaty Decree. According to the Huquqiy Akhborot (Legal Information), the Decree approved the air services treaty between the governments of Uzbekistan and Qatar.
The treaty was signed on June 9, 2021 in Tashkent. The Ministry of Transport is responsible for implementing the agreement.
The treaty provides for the organization of air travel, the appointment of airlines, the right to operate flights, the determination of designated locations, the recognition of certificates and licenses, the regulation of representative offices of airlines designated in the two countries.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant ministries and departments will ensure the performance of Uzbekistan's obligations after the entry into force of this international treaty.
